AMHS STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
AMHS endeavors to prepare its students to
function in an ever-changing society.  The students
have the opportunity to develop their intellectual,
social, emotional, and physical growth in a
friendly, stimulating atmosphere where human
diversity is accepted.

Students are encouraged to expand their intellect,
increase their self-confidence, accept others, and
contribute to the greater community through a
variety of personal and group experiences which
will foster intellectual challenge as well as the
awareness of other's needs and the development of
self-respect, self-discipline, and wise personal
decisions.
